Welcome to Steiner Academy Frome
Welcome to our website. The Steiner Academy Frome is now open. We offer 26 places per school year for children up to the age of 9 and will grow year on year to become an all-through school to 16. It will double the number of places available starting with the intake in 2015, so that eventually it will have the capacity to offer Steiner education to 624 pupils from 4- 16. As an all-through school there will always be only one point of admissions, which will be at Rising 5.
Our school is temporarily located at the Corsley Centre in Corsley, which is 4 miles from Frome and will move to its permanent home in Park Road in Frome when the programme of refurbishment is completed. The plan is to transform the NHS site to create a learning environment that is modern, light and airy and in harmony with the Steiner ethos; where practical we will use use natural materials.
